Finland to Norway visa requirements

No visa needed. As an EU/EEA citizen, a Finnish passport holder can travel to Norway visa-free under EU/EEA free movement rules, entering with a valid Finnish passport or national ID card. Finland is a member of the EU and the EEA, and Norway is part of the EEA and the Schengen Area. Under European free movement rules, Finnish citizens do not need a visa, an ETIAS authorization, or any pre-travel permit to visit Norway. You may enter and travel with either a valid Finnish passport or a valid Finnish national identity card; the document must be valid on the day of travel. Because both countries are in Schengen, there are normally no routine border passport checks. As an EU/EEA national exercising free movement, you are not limited by the Schengen 90/180 short-stay rule that applies to non-EU visitors: you can stay for tourism freely, and if you intend to stay or reside in Norway for more than three months you simply register with the Norwegian authorities (UDI/police) rather than apply for a visa.
