Finland to South Korea visa requirements

Finnish passport holders can visit South Korea visa-free for up to 90 days. Finland is temporarily exempt from K-ETA until Dec 31, 2026; submit the free e-Arrival Card within 3 days before arrival unless you hold a valid K-ETA. Finnish ordinary passport holders are eligible for visa-free short visits to South Korea for tourism, family visits, transit, events, meetings and non-profit business activities, with an allowed stay of up to 90 days. Korea's official K-ETA site lists Finland with a 90-day allowed stay, and VISITKOREA lists Finland in the temporary K-ETA exemption group through Dec 31, 2026. During the exemption, no K-ETA fee is due if traveling under the waiver, but travelers without a valid K-ETA should submit the free e-Arrival Card on e-arrivalcard.go.kr within 3 days before arrival. Travelers who already hold or voluntarily obtain K-ETA can use it until expiry; it normally costs KRW 10,000, is valid for 3 years or until passport expiry, and exempts the holder from the arrival-card submission. K-ETA or visa-free status does not guarantee admission; a Korea Immigration Service officer decides at the port of entry. Work, long study, residence and stays over 90 days require the proper Korean visa or status. Korea and Finland signed a working holiday agreement in May 2026 for ages 18-35 and stays up to 12 months, but official implementation details and quotas were still being announced; check WHIC or the Korean embassy before relying on it. Finnair lists direct Helsinki-Seoul service; schedules remain airline-dependent.
