Do Finland passport holders need a visa to visit EC?

No visa needed. Finnish passport holders can enter Ecuador visa-free for tourism and receive a T-3 tourist stamp valid for up to 90 days within a rolling 12-month period. Finland (FI) ordinary passport holders do not need a visa for short tourist visits to Ecuador. Like citizens of most EU/Schengen states, Finns are granted a T-3 tourist stamp on arrival at no cost, permitting a stay of up to 90 days within any 12-month (rolling 90/180-style) period. The passport must be valid for at least six months and contain blank pages, and travelers should be able to show onward/return travel and sufficient funds. The 90-day allowance is cumulative across the immigration year, so multiple entries draw from the same balance. Those wishing to stay longer may apply for a 90-day tourist extension (the 12-IX category), capping the annual tourist total at roughly 180 days. There is no eVisa, ETA, or visa-on-arrival process for Finnish tourists; entry is simply granted at immigration. A June 2025 Ecuadorian transit-visa measure applies only to nationals who already need an entry visa and does not affect Finland.
