Spain to Zimbabwe visa requirements
Spanish passport holders need a visa for Zimbabwe but can get it on arrival. Spain is a Zimbabwe "Category B" country, meaning you can pay for and obtain a tourist visa at any port of entry (airport or land border). The standard single-entry visa costs USD 30. You may also apply online for an eVisa in advance via evisa.gov.zw if you prefer certainty before travel. As of 2026, Zimbabwe places Spain in "Category B" of its visa framework. Category B nationals are not visa-exempt, but they may obtain a visa on arrival at any Zimbabwean port of entry after paying the relevant fee, with no prior application strictly required. The standard "ordinary" single-entry tourist visa costs USD 30, whether purchased at the port of entry or online as an eVisa; a double-entry visa is also available and a multiple-entry visa costs USD 55. Visitors arriving primarily for Victoria Falls may instead buy the KAZA Univisa (USD 50), which also covers Zambia and permits day trips to Botswana. The single-entry visa permits a stay of up to 30 days, extendable in-country. Zimbabwe is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to this route. To avoid queues or payment issues, travelers can complete the Zimbabwe Entry Declaration Form online before arrival and optionally apply for the eVisa, which is processed in about 7 working days. Passport must be valid for at least 6 months with two blank pages. Visa on arrival is the simplest channel and is recommended for most short tourist visits; the eVisa is recommended where advance confirmation is desired.
