Spain to Zambia visa requirements

Spanish ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist visits to Zambia. Spain is on Zambia's official visa-exemption list, and a free entry stamp is issued on arrival. Spain is one of the countries whose ordinary passport holders are exempt from Zambian visa requirements (Spain appears as item #144 on the Zambia Department of Immigration "Nationals Who Do Not Require Visa" list). Zambia significantly expanded and consolidated its visa-waiver policy effective 1 January 2025, and Spain falls within the visa-free regime. A Spanish tourist receives a free entry stamp at the port of entry. Visitors and tourists are entitled to up to 90 days of stay in any 12-month period from the day of first entry (commonly granted as an initial 30-day period that can be extended free of charge at an immigration office, up to the 90-day annual cap). Zambia is NOT in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to this route. No e-visa or visa-on-arrival fee is required for Spanish nationals for ordinary tourism; the KAZA UNIVISA (USD 50) remains an optional product mainly relevant to travellers who want a combined Zambia-Zimbabwe multi-entry permit, but it is not required for a Spanish passport holder visiting Zambia alone. Standard entry conditions still apply: a passport valid for at least 6 months with blank pages, proof of onward/return travel, and sufficient funds.
