Spain to Oman visa requirements

Spanish ordinary passport holders can enter Oman visa-free for up to 14 days for tourism. No visa or eVisa is required for short stays within this limit. As of 2026, Spain is on Oman's "first group" visa-exemption list, allowing ordinary passport holders to enter without a visa for tourism and short visits of up to 14 days. This exemption is unilateral and granted at the port of entry; no advance application, fee, or eVisa is needed. To qualify, travelers must hold a passport valid for at least six months, and may be asked to show a confirmed hotel reservation, a return or onward ticket, valid travel/health insurance, and proof of sufficient funds. The 14-day visa-free stay cannot be extended or converted to a residence visa. Spouses and children benefit from the same facility even if they hold a different nationality. Travelers who plan to stay longer than 14 days should instead apply for a tourist eVisa through the official Royal Oman Police portal (evisa.rop.gov.om) before travel: a 10-day single-entry eVisa costs about OMR 5 and a 30-day single-entry eVisa about OMR 20. Oman is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to entry into Oman.
