Spain to South Korea visa requirements

Spanish ordinary passport holders can visit South Korea visa-free for up to 90 days. K-ETA is temporarily exempt through 31 Dec 2026; travelers without a valid K-ETA should submit Korea's e-Arrival Card within 3 days before arrival. Spanish ordinary passport holders may enter South Korea without a consular visa for short tourism, visits, events, conferences, or non-remunerated business for up to 90 days. The official K-ETA eligible-country page lists Spain with a 90-day allowed stay, and Spain's Foreign Ministry confirms no visa is needed for stays up to 90 days. K-ETA is normally the pre-travel authorization for visa-free travelers, but Korea extended the temporary K-ETA exemption for currently exempt countries through 31 December 2026 (KST), and Spain's Foreign Ministry confirms Spanish citizens are covered until that date. Travelers may still apply voluntarily for K-ETA to avoid submitting the arrival card; optional K-ETA costs KRW 10,000 plus online payment fee, is usually assessed within 72 hours, and is valid for up to 3 years or until passport expiry. Travelers entering without a valid K-ETA should submit the free e-Arrival Card within 3 days before arrival, as Spain's Foreign Ministry also directs short-stay visitors to do. Spain's Foreign Ministry states the passport should have at least 6 months validity. Work, study, journalism, paid activity, residence, and stays beyond 90 days require the appropriate Korean visa or status before travel.
