Do Canada passport holders need a visa to visit HN?
No visa required. Canadian ordinary passport holders can enter Honduras for tourism visa-free for up to 90 days under the CA-4 regime. A Canadian ordinary passport holder does not need a visa to visit Honduras for tourism. Canada is on Honduras's visa-exempt list, allowing stays of up to 90 days, granted at the immigration officer's discretion. Honduras is part of the Central America-4 (CA-4) Border Control Agreement with Guatemala, El Salvador and Nicaragua; the 90-day allowance is shared across all four countries, and the total authorized stay in Honduras can be extended up to a maximum of 120 days. Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry. Travelers must complete the online Honduras customs/migration declaration form before arrival and present the resulting QR code to authorities. A small fee (around US$3) may apply at land borders. Proof of onward or return travel and sufficient funds may be requested. Note that the UK lost its Honduras visa exemption in August 2024, but Canada's exemption remains in effect as of 2026. This route is verified against the Honduran Embassy in Canada and the Government of Canada travel advisory.
