Do Brazil passport holders need a visa to visit Thailand?

No visa needed. Brazilian ordinary passport holders can enter Thailand visa-free for tourism and stay up to 90 days under a special Thailand-Brazil bilateral agreement. Brazil is one of only three countries (with South Korea and Peru) that hold a bilateral visa-exemption agreement with Thailand granting ordinary passport holders up to 90 days of visa-free stay — longer than the standard 60-day exemption other nationals receive. No visa or e-Visa is required before travel for tourism. You do, however, need to complete the free Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online within 72 hours before arrival, hold a passport valid at least 6 months, and be able to show proof of onward/return travel and sufficient funds (10,000 THB per person / 20,000 THB per family) if asked. The stay can usually be extended once by 30 days at a local Thai Immigration office for a 1,900 THB fee.
