Do Brazil passport holders need a visa to visit Hong Kong?

Brazilian ordinary passport holders can visit Hong Kong visa-free for up to 90 days for tourism. No visa, eVisa, or pre-arrival registration is required. As of 2026-05-30, holders of an ordinary Brazilian passport do NOT need a visa to visit Hong Kong for tourism or short visits. The Hong Kong Immigration Department grants Brazilian nationals visa-free entry for a stay of up to 90 days. You simply arrive at a Hong Kong port of entry with a passport valid for at least the duration of your stay (six months recommended), proof of onward or return travel, and adequate funds. Hong Kong does not operate an ETA or eVisa scheme for ordinary tourists, so there is nothing to apply for in advance. Important: Hong Kong, Macao, and Mainland China are separate immigration zones. Visa-free entry to Hong Kong does NOT permit entry to Mainland China, which requires a separate Chinese visa obtained beforehand. Visitors may not work or study on visa-free entry, and immigration officers retain discretion to refuse entry even when documents are in order. If you plan to stay longer than 90 days, work, or study, you must obtain the appropriate visa or entry permit before traveling.
