🇦🇺AUSTRALIA🇻🇳VIETNAMAU-VN Do Australia passport holders need a visa to visit Vietnam?
Australians need a Vietnam e-Visa (USD 25 single, USD 50 multi) valid up to 90 days; apply online at evisa.gov.vn. Australian passport holders are not on Vietnam's visa-exemption list and must apply for a Vietnam e-Visa before travel. Since August 2023, the e-Visa is valid for up to 90 days, single or multiple entry, and is accepted at all 33+ international ports of entry. Apply at evisa.gov.vn (official) for USD 25 single or USD 50 multiple entry; processing takes 3 working days. Direct flights are plentiful - Vietnam Airlines, Jetstar, and Qantas serve Sydney (SYD), Melbourne (MEL), Brisbane (BNE), and Perth (PER) to Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) and Hanoi (HAN). Vietnam is a hugely popular leisure destination for Australian travellers given affordable beaches, food, and direct flights. Use only the official evisa.gov.vn site.
