Australia to Indonesia visa requirements

Australian ordinary passport holders need an Indonesian VOA/eVOA. It costs IDR 500,000, allows 30 days, and can be extended once for 30 more days. Bali visitors also pay the IDR 150,000 foreign tourist levy. Australian ordinary passport holders are eligible for Indonesia's single-entry Visa on Arrival / electronic Visa on Arrival (VOA/eVOA) for tourism, family or social visits, business meetings, shopping, MICE attendance, and transit. The official Indonesian eVisa site lists Australia as an eligible passport country. The visa fee is IDR 500,000, the stay is 30 days from arrival, and the visa must be used within 90 days of issue. It can be extended once in Indonesia for another 30 days, but it cannot be converted to another visa or stay permit. Travellers must have a passport valid for at least 6 months, an outbound ticket, and enough funds for the visit. Apply online before travel where possible and allow at least 48 hours before departure; eligible travellers may also obtain VOA at the port of entry. All travellers must submit the All Indonesia Arrival Card within 3 days before arrival. Foreign tourists visiting Bali must also pay the Bali Foreign Tourist Levy of IDR 150,000 per person through the official Love Bali system or approved payment counters/partners.
