Australian ordinary passport holders need a Visa on Arrival (VOA / eVOA) to enter Indonesia for tourism, business meetings, or family visits. The eVOA costs IDR 500,000 (about USD 35 / AUD 50), is bought online or at the airport (CGK, DPS, KNO, JOG, SUB, BTH), permits an initial 30-day stay, and can be extended once in-country for another 30 days. Travellers to Bali also pay the IDR 150,000 (about AUD 15) tourist levy. Bali airport now uses an e-Gate for eVOA holders, speeding up entry significantly.
