Argentina to Cyprus visa requirements

Argentine ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist stays in Cyprus. They may enter visa-free for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Cyprus is an EU member but is NOT in the Schengen Area, so this allowance is counted separately from the Schengen 90/180 limit. As of 30 May 2026, no ETIAS authorization is yet required (ETIAS launch is expected in the last quarter of 2026). The European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) will eventually apply to visa-exempt nationals visiting Cyprus, but it is not operational as of 30 May 2026; the EU has announced an expected launch in the last quarter of 2026. Until ETIAS goes live, no online pre-authorization is needed. Travelers should re-check the ETIAS status close to their trip if departing in late 2026 or later.
