🇦🇪United Arab Emirates🇸🇻El SalvadorAE-SV United Arab Emirates to El Salvador visa requirements
UAE ordinary passport holders can visit El Salvador visa-free for short tourism. No advance visa is needed; you buy a USD 12 Tourist Card on arrival, valid for up to 90 days across the CA-4 region (El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua). El Salvador places the United Arab Emirates in category A, Exento de Visa, so an Emirati holding an ordinary passport does not require a consular visa for tourism or short visits. UAE MoFA also lists normal UAE passports as visa-free for El Salvador tourism for 90 days and gives a six-month passport-validity requirement. On arrival, travelers buy the El Salvador Tourist Card for USD 12, which supports a tourist stay of up to 90 days. Because El Salvador is part of the CA-4 region, that allowance is shared across El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua combined. Travelers should carry a passport valid for at least six months, return/onward travel, accommodation details, and proof of funds if requested. The CEPA Airport Improvement Tariff applies to specific listed African nationalities/territories plus India; the UAE is not on that list, so the additional tariff should not apply to UAE passport holders. El Salvador is in Central America, not the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply.
