🇦🇪United Arab Emirates🇴🇲OmanAE-OM United Arab Emirates to Oman visa requirements
UAE citizens do not need a visa to enter Oman. As GCC nationals, Emirati citizens may enter using a valid UAE passport or a valid government-issued national ID card/Emirates ID, subject to carrier and border checks. United Arab Emirates citizens are exempt from Oman visa requirements as GCC nationals. The Oman Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that citizens of GCC countries, including the United Arab Emirates, do not require visas to enter Oman. Muscat International Airport also notes that GCC citizens holding valid government-issued national ID cards are excepted from the normal passport requirement for international visitors. There is no visa fee or pre-application for Emirati citizens, but Oman's public visa pages do not publish an unlimited-stay rule for GCC nationals, so travelers should follow Royal Oman Police or border instructions for the permitted visit. This exemption is for Emirati/GCC citizens only. Non-Emirati UAE residents are not covered by the GCC-national exemption; eligible GCC residents should check Oman's Royal Oman Police/Gov.om GCC Resident Visa route and current conditions before travel.
