🇿🇦南非(South Africa)🇷🇸塞尔维亚(Serbia)ZA-RS 南非(South Africa) 前往 塞尔维亚(Serbia) 签证要求
Yes. South African ordinary passport holders need a visa to enter Serbia for tourism. A short-stay (Type C) visa can be applied for online via the official welcometoserbia.gov.rs portal (digital travel authorization / eVisa) or in person at the Serbian Embassy in Pretoria. The only exemption is for travellers who already hold a valid Schengen, UK, or US visa or residence permit, who may enter visa-free for up to 90 days in any 180-day period. South Africa is not on Serbia's visa-free list, so an ordinary South African passport holder must obtain a Serbian short-stay (Type C) tourist visa before travelling. As of April 2025 Serbia issues visas in electronic form (Digital Travel Authorization / eVisa) for around 46 eligible nationalities, and South African applicants may apply online at welcometoserbia.gov.rs (after registering on the eID portal) or in person at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Pretoria. The visa permits a short tourist stay within the 90-days-in-any-180-day short-stay limit. Standard supporting documents include a passport valid at least 90 days beyond intended departure, return/onward ticket, confirmed accommodation or a certified invitation letter, proof of sufficient funds (about EUR 50 per day), travel medical insurance, and the visa fee. Processing should be started well in advance (allow around three weeks). Importantly, South Africans who already hold a valid Schengen, UK, or US visa or residence permit do NOT need a Serbian visa for stays up to 90 days. Serbia is NOT a Schengen or EU member state, so the EU ETIAS scheme does not apply to entering Serbia; the Schengen 90/180 rule is a separate matter that would only affect a South African travelling onward into the Schengen Area.
