🇿🇦南非(South Africa)🇵🇪秘鲁(Peru)ZA-PE 南非(South Africa) 前往 秘鲁(Peru) 签证要求
South African ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa to visit Peru for tourism. You receive a visa-free tourist entry on arrival, normally for up to 90 days (Migraciones may grant up to 183 days per 365-day period at the officer's discretion). As of 30 May 2026, holders of an ordinary South African passport may travel to Peru for tourism without a visa. On arrival, Peru's immigration authority (Superintendencia Nacional de Migraciones) registers the entry and grants a permitted stay determined by the officer, commonly up to 90 days and up to a legal maximum of 183 days within a 365-day period. There is no application form, no fee, and no eVisa, ETA or visa-on-arrival sticker for short tourist stays. The passport must be valid for at least six months from the date of entry and should have at least two blank pages. Travelers should be ready to show proof of onward or return travel, accommodation details, and sufficient funds, as immigration officers may request these. The visa-free channel covers tourism and visiting friends/family only; work, study, paid activities, or long-term residence require the appropriate visa obtained in advance. Peru is in South America and is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to this route. This visa-waiver arrangement has been stable through 2024-2026 with no announced changes affecting South African nationals.
