🇿🇦南非(South Africa)🇰🇪肯尼亚(Kenya)ZA-KE 南非(South Africa) 前往 肯尼亚(Kenya) 签证要求
South African ordinary passport holders can enter Kenya visa-free for up to 90 days for tourism. No eTA, no visa and no entry fee are required, following Kenya's 30 May 2025 immigration amendments that exempted most African nationals (including South Africa) from the Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA). As of the 30 May 2025 amendments to Kenya's immigration rules, ordinary South African passport holders are exempt from Kenya's Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) and may enter visa-free for stays not exceeding 90 days. Kenya abolished traditional visas for all nationalities on 1 January 2024 and introduced the eTA; the May 2025 reforms then removed the eTA obligation for most African nationals, placing South Africa in the 90-day eTA-exempt group. This means South Africans no longer pay the USD 30/34 eTA fee or complete an online application before travel for short tourist visits. Travelers should still carry a passport valid for at least six months with a blank page, proof of onward/return travel, accommodation details and sufficient funds, as the immigration officer at the port of entry makes the final admission decision and grants the stay period (up to 90 days). The 90-day limit is per visit; long stays, work or study still require the appropriate permit. Because policy in this region has changed several times since 2024, confirm status shortly before departure via the official Directorate of Immigration Services or the Kenya High Commission in Pretoria.
