🇿🇦南非(South Africa)🇦🇱阿尔巴尼亚(Albania)ZA-AL 南非(South Africa) 前往 阿尔巴尼亚(Albania) 签证要求
South African ordinary passport holders need a visa for Albania. The simplest route is the official Albanian e-Visa (Type C, short stay) applied for online at e-visa.al before travel. Important exemption: if you hold a valid, multiple-entry and previously-used Schengen, US or UK visa (or residence permit), you may enter Albania visa-free for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. As of mid-2026, South Africa is not on Albania's visa-free list and is not among the nationalities granted seasonal (15 April - 31 December 2026) visa-free tourism access, which currently covers only Saudi Arabia and Qatar. South African ordinary passport holders therefore require a visa, which is most conveniently obtained as an electronic visa (e-Visa) through the official government portal at e-visa.al. The standard short-stay (Type C) visa allows tourism stays of up to 90 days within a 180-day period. Albania is NOT part of the Schengen Area, so the EU/Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to entering Albania itself; however, Albania does operate a Schengen-style 90/180 counter for its own short-stay regime. A significant exemption applies: holders of a valid, multiple-entry visa or residence permit issued by a Schengen state, the United States, or the United Kingdom that has already been used at least once in the issuing country may enter Albania without a separate Albanian visa for up to 90 days. Travelers relying on this exemption must hold the physical document and a passport valid for at least six months. Those who do not qualify should apply for the e-Visa well in advance of travel. Always confirm current rules with the Albanian Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and the official e-visa.al portal before booking, as seasonal exemptions and policies change year to year.
