🇻🇳越南(Vietnam)🇸🇷苏里南(Suriname)VN-SR 越南(Vietnam) 前往 苏里南(Suriname) 签证要求
Vietnamese ordinary passport holders do not need a traditional consular visa for a short tourist stay in Suriname, but they must obtain an online e-Tourist Card (Entry Fee Voucher) before traveling. It allows a stay of up to 90 days. Suriname is not part of the Schengen area; it is a South American country with its own entry rules. Since 1 May 2023, Suriname reimposed full visa/e-Visa requirements on a specific list of about 21 nationalities (e.g. India, Pakistan, China, Egypt, Nigeria). Vietnam is NOT on that restricted list. Vietnamese ordinary passport holders therefore fall under Suriname's visa-exemption-with-entry-fee scheme, for which they must obtain an electronic e-Tourist Card (also called the Entry Fee Voucher) online before departure. This is administered by VFS Global, the official and authorised partner of the Government of Suriname. The card is purchased and approved online (typically within about 72 hours, often much faster) and must be obtained prior to arrival; it can no longer be bought at the airport. The standard product is a single-entry card permitting tourism/family-visit stays of up to 90 days, with a multiple-entry (5 entries within 3 months) option also available. Because a mandatory electronic pre-travel authorization with payment is required, the best single classification for this route is e-Visa (e-Tourist Card) rather than fully visa-free. Travelers should carry the printed approval, a passport valid at least 6 months with a blank page, proof of onward/return travel and accommodation, and present these on arrival. Always re-confirm on the official VFS Global Suriname portal close to departure, as Suriname has changed its entry-fee and eligibility rules several times since 2023.
