🇻🇳越南(Vietnam)🇸🇮斯洛文尼亚(Slovenia)VN-SI 越南(Vietnam) 前往 斯洛文尼亚(Slovenia) 签证要求
Yes, a visa is required. Vietnamese ordinary passport holders must obtain a Schengen short-stay (Type C) visa before traveling to Slovenia for tourism. Slovenia is a full Schengen member, and Vietnam is on the EU list of visa-required nationalities. Slovenia is part of the Schengen Area, and Vietnam is not on the EU visa-exemption list, so holders of an ordinary Vietnamese passport must apply for a Schengen Type C (short-stay) visa before departure. Applications are submitted in Vietnam, typically through VFS Global centres in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City (or via another Schengen member state representing Slovenia where Slovenia has no consulate). A short-stay visa permits stays of up to 90 days within any 180-day period across the entire Schengen Area. The standard visa fee is EUR 90 for adults plus a VFS service charge, and applicants must show travel insurance covering at least EUR 30,000, proof of accommodation, round-trip travel, and sufficient funds. The forthcoming ETIAS travel authorization (expected late 2026) does NOT apply to Vietnamese nationals because it is only for visa-exempt travelers; Vietnamese passport holders continue to need a full Schengen visa. Apply early: standard processing is about 15 calendar days but can extend to 45 days in peak season, and you may apply up to 6 months before travel.
