🇻🇳越南(Vietnam)🇲🇳蒙古国(Mongolia)VN-MN 越南(Vietnam) 前往 蒙古国(Mongolia) 签证要求
No visa needed. Vietnam ordinary passport holders can enter Mongolia visa-free for tourism and stay up to 30 days, under the bilateral visa exemption agreement in force since 6 March 2024. As of 2026, holders of an ordinary Vietnamese passport do not need a visa to travel to Mongolia for tourism or other short, non-income-generating visits. This is the result of a bilateral visa exemption agreement signed in Hanoi on 1 November 2023 (during President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh's state visit to Vietnam) and entered into force on 6 March 2024. The agreement covers diplomatic, official and ordinary passports. Ordinary passport holders are granted visa-free entry, exit, transit and stay of up to 30 days per entry, provided the visit is not for income-generating (work) purposes. The passport must be valid for at least six months. Mongolia does not operate a visa-on-arrival scheme, so travelers who need to stay longer than 30 days, or whose purpose falls outside the waiver (such as employment, study or long business postings), must obtain a visa in advance, either through Mongolia's e-Visa portal (evisa.mn) or a Mongolian embassy/consulate. Note that any foreign national, including visa-free visitors, intending to remain in Mongolia for more than 30 days must register with the Mongolian Immigration Agency in Ulaanbaatar within the first 7 days of arrival; for a stay capped at 30 days under the waiver this registration is not triggered. The visa-free verdict is well supported: the Mongolian state news agency Montsame, the Vietnamese government and the consolidated Wikipedia visa-policy record all confirm the 30-day ordinary-passport exemption. Mongolia is not in the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply.
