Vietnamese ordinary passport holders need a visa for Guinea, and the recommended route is the official Guinea eVisa applied online before travel. Vietnam is not on Guinea's visa-exempt list, so a visa is mandatory. The tourist eVisa allows stays of up to 90 days and costs USD 80 in government fees. After online approval you receive an Entry Visa Letter and complete biometric enrollment (photo and fingerprints) at the visa counter on arrival at Conakry (CKY) airport. A valid yellow fever vaccination certificate is required both for the application and on arrival. A Vietnam ordinary passport holder cannot enter Guinea visa-free. Guinea operates an electronic visa (eVisa) system run by the Air and Border Police (Police de l'Air et des Frontieres, PAF), and Vietnam is not among the visa-exempt nationalities (which are mainly ECOWAS states plus a short list of African and other countries). The correct channel for tourism is the official PAF tourist eVisa, which permits a stay of up to 90 days and carries a government fee of USD 80. The applicant submits the application online at the PAF portal, uploads the passport datapage, a photo, a return/onward ticket, proof of accommodation and funds, and a yellow fever vaccination certificate. After review (typically about 3-4 business days) an approval / Entry Visa Letter is issued. On arrival at Conakry international airport the traveler presents that letter at the visa counter to complete biometric enrollment (photograph and fingerprints) before the visa sticker is issued. Note that approval is not guaranteed and fees are non-refundable. Yellow fever vaccination is a strict entry requirement: the certificate must be issued by an approved center at least 10 days before travel, and the WHO international vaccination certificate is checked on arrival. Conservatively, this is an eVisa-required route, not visa-free or a true autonomous visa-on-arrival (genuine VoA is reserved for UAE nationals).
