🇺🇸美国(United States)🇲🇪黑山(Montenegro)US-ME 美国(United States) 前往 黑山(Montenegro) 签证要求
US passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourist visits to Montenegro. You may enter visa-free and stay up to 90 days within any 180-day period, counted from your first entry. As of 2026, U.S. ordinary passport holders enjoy visa-free entry to Montenegro for tourism and short stays of up to 90 days within a rolling 180-day period (counted from the date of first entry). No advance visa, eVisa, or visa-on-arrival is required. Montenegro is NOT part of the Schengen Area and is not yet an EU member, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply to entering Montenegro itself (Montenegro applies its own separate 90/180 day allowance). The passport should be valid at the time of entry and have at least one blank page for the stamp; many sources advise six months' validity beyond the intended stay as a precaution. All visitors must register their stay with local authorities within 24 hours of arrival; hotels and tourist accommodation handle this automatically, but visitors staying in private accommodation must register in person at the local tourism office and pay the tourist tax. Failure to register can lead to fines or departure difficulties. Travelers should also be prepared to show proof of onward/return travel and sufficient funds. For stays beyond 90 days, a temporary residence permit must be applied for at least one month before the 90-day limit expires.
