🇺🇸美国(United States)🇩🇿阿尔及利亚(Algeria)US-DZ 美国(United States) 前往 阿尔及利亚(Algeria) 签证要求
US passport holders need a visa obtained in advance from an Algerian embassy or consulate before traveling to Algeria for tourism. There is no general visa on arrival and no operational eVisa for US tourists as of mid-2026. A United States ordinary passport holder must obtain a tourist (short-stay) visa from an Algerian diplomatic mission (Embassy of Algeria in Washington, D.C. or a consulate) before departure. Algeria does not extend visa-free entry to US citizens, and its long-announced eVisa system is still not operational for general tourist use as of June 2026. A limited visa-on-arrival exists only for travelers on organized tours to certain southern provinces (e.g., Tamanrasset, Djanet, Ghardaia) and for cruise-ship passengers on organized shore excursions, neither of which covers the typical independent tourist. The standard tourist visa is generally valid for stays of up to 90 days, requires proof of accommodation (a hotel reservation issued directly by the hotel or a legalized accommodation certificate), travel insurance, and a passport valid for at least six months. The consular fee for US citizens is approximately USD 160, with embassy processing typically around 5-8 business days. Travelers should also note that Israeli entry stamps in the passport can cause difficulties at the border. Because no reliable no-visa channel exists for ordinary US tourists, the conservative and correct verdict is visa-required.
