🇺🇸美国(United States)🇩🇴多米尼加(Dominican Republic)US-DO 美国(United States) 前往 多米尼加(Dominican Republic) 签证要求
US passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourism in the Dominican Republic for stays up to 30 days. You must complete the free online E-Ticket migration form before arrival and departure. A US$10 tourist card fee applies but is almost always already bundled into your airline ticket. United States ordinary passport holders enjoy visa-free entry to the Dominican Republic for tourism and short visits of up to 30 days. There is no visa to apply for in advance. Two practical formalities exist: (1) the mandatory, free electronic E-Ticket (eTicket.migracion.gob.do) that every passenger must complete before both arrival and departure, generating a QR code shown to immigration and customs; and (2) the US$10 tourist card, which since 2018 is included in the airfare of virtually all carriers serving the DR, so most travelers never pay it separately. The standard six-month passport validity rule has been waived for US citizens through December 31, 2026 — a US passport need only be valid for the duration of the stay, though most travelers and airlines still prefer six months of validity to avoid confusion. Stays beyond 30 days are permitted but incur a sliding-scale stay/overstay fee paid on departure (online or at the airport), starting at RD$3,500 for 30 to 90 days and rising with the length of stay; extensions can also be requested through the Migration Department. Travelers should be ready to show onward/return tickets, proof of accommodation, and sufficient funds. The Dominican Republic is in the Caribbean and is not part of the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 rules and ETIAS do not apply.
