🇺🇸美国(United States)🇩🇯吉布提(Djibouti)US-DJ 美国(United States) 前往 吉布提(Djibouti) 签证要求
US ordinary passport holders need a visa to enter Djibouti and should obtain an eVisa online before travel via the official government portal (evisa.gouv.dj). The short-stay tourist eVisa costs about USD 23, is valid for 15-90 days, and is used to enter through Ambouli International Airport in the capital. A US citizen with an ordinary passport cannot travel to Djibouti visa-free. The Republic of Djibouti operates an official electronic visa system at evisa.gouv.dj, introduced in 2018, offering a short-stay tourist eVisa (15-90 days, approx. USD 23) and a transit eVisa (1-14 days, approx. USD 12). The eVisa is the primary recommended channel for US tourists and is valid for entry at Ambouli International Airport in Djibouti City. A traditional visa from the Embassy of the Republic of Djibouti in Washington, D.C. is the reliable alternative; the US State Department notes that while the eVisa site is live, some applications have reportedly failed to process, so applying via the embassy is a safe fallback. A visa-on-arrival is also charged about USD 23 at the airport, but Djibouti officially restricts standard VOA to diplomatic, official, and service passport holders, so ordinary US passport holders should arrange a visa in advance. Passports must have at least six months validity and two blank pages, and a yellow fever vaccination certificate is required if arriving from a yellow-fever-endemic area. Djibouti is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply.
