🇹🇼台湾(Taiwan (Chinese Taipei))🇸🇴索马里(Somalia)TW-SO 台湾(Taiwan (Chinese Taipei)) 前往 索马里(Somalia) 签证要求
Taiwan ordinary passport holders need an eVisa (eTAS) to enter Somalia. Since 1 September 2025 an online Electronic Travel Authorization is mandatory for all foreign travelers and must be approved before departure; there is no general visa-free or on-arrival channel at federal entry points such as Mogadishu. Somalia operates a nationwide Electronic Visa / Electronic Travel Authorization System (eVisa/eTAS) that became mandatory on 1 September 2025 for all foreign nationals, including infants, traveling to federally controlled entry points such as Mogadishu (Aden Adde International Airport). Taiwan ordinary passport holders are eligible to apply. Note the recent history: Somalia briefly barred Taiwanese passports from 30 April 2025, but the restriction was reversed in June 2025, and Taiwan passport holders can again travel to Somalia using the standard eTAS process. The single-entry tourist eTAS typically costs around USD 65, permits a 30-day stay, is valid for entry within 90 days of issue, and is processed online in roughly 3-7 working days. Applicants need a passport valid at least 6 months with a blank page, a passport-style photo/selfie, and (depending on route) a sponsor code. A separate caution applies to Somaliland: the self-declared region (Hargeisa and its airports) does NOT honor the federal eTAS and instead issues its own visa on arrival, so travelers heading to Somaliland must use that regional permit. Taiwan's Bureau of Consular Affairs maintains a serious security travel warning for Somalia; this guide covers entry documents only, not the security situation.
