🇹🇼台湾(Taiwan (Chinese Taipei))🇸🇮斯洛文尼亚(Slovenia)TW-SI 台湾(Taiwan (Chinese Taipei)) 前往 斯洛文尼亚(Slovenia) 签证要求
Taiwan ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for Slovenia. As an EU/Schengen member, Slovenia grants visa-free entry to Taiwanese nationals for up to 90 days within any 180-day period for tourism. Your Taiwan passport must contain your national ID number to qualify. Slovenia is a full member of the EU and the Schengen Area. Since 11 January 2011, holders of a Taiwan (Republic of China) ordinary passport that contains the holder's national identity card number have been exempt from the Schengen short-stay visa requirement. This allows visa-free travel for tourism, business or family visits for a maximum of 90 days within any rolling 180-day period across the entire Schengen Area combined. No advance application or fee is required at present. The passport must have been issued within the previous 10 years and remain valid for at least 3 months beyond the planned departure date from the Schengen Area; passports without the embedded ID number are NOT eligible and would require a Schengen visa. Travelers must still meet standard entry conditions at the border: proof of onward/return travel, sufficient funds, accommodation details and a stated purpose of visit. Looking ahead, the EU's ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorisation System) will add a mandatory online travel authorisation for visa-exempt nationals including Taiwanese. ETIAS is expected to start operations in the last quarter of 2026 and become obligatory only after a transitional period in 2027. As of 30 May 2026 it is NOT yet required, so visa-free entry with just a valid passport remains the correct channel for a Taiwan passport holder visiting Slovenia today.
