🇹🇼台湾(Taiwan (Chinese Taipei))🇵🇱波兰(Poland)TW-PL 台湾(Taiwan (Chinese Taipei)) 前往 波兰(Poland) 签证要求
Taiwan ordinary passport holders can visit Poland visa-free for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Poland is in the Schengen Area, and Taiwan (with passports bearing the holder's national ID number) has held Schengen visa-free status since January 2011. Poland is a member of the Schengen Area, and Taiwan has enjoyed Schengen short-stay visa exemption since 11 January 2011. A Taiwanese ordinary passport holder may enter Poland and the wider Schengen zone for tourism, business, or family visits without a visa for up to 90 days in any rolling 180-day period. The exemption applies only to ordinary passports that contain the holder's national ID (identity card) number; passports without an ID number are not covered and require a visa. The passport must be issued within the past 10 years and remain valid for at least 3 months beyond the planned departure from the Schengen territory. Visa-free status does not permit paid employment, and stays longer than 90 days or for work/study require a national long-stay (D) visa from the Polish Office in Taipei. A new requirement is on the horizon: ETIAS, the EU's electronic travel authorisation, is expected to launch in the last quarter of 2026. As of 1 June 2026 ETIAS is NOT yet operational and is not required to travel. Once live, eligible Taiwanese travellers will need to obtain an ETIAS (EUR 20, valid up to 3 years) online before departure; the Entry/Exit System (EES) is already in operation and registers entries and exits biometrically at the border. Travellers should verify ETIAS status close to their trip date.
