🇹🇼台湾(Taiwan (Chinese Taipei))🇳🇬尼日利亚(Nigeria)TW-NG 台湾(Taiwan (Chinese Taipei)) 前往 尼日利亚(Nigeria) 签证要求
Taiwan ordinary passport holders need an e-Visa to visit Nigeria for tourism. Nigeria abolished visa-on-arrival on 1 May 2025 and now requires all eligible travelers to obtain an e-Visa online before departure. The F5A Tourist e-Visa allows a single entry and a 30-day stay. As of mid-2026, a Taiwan (TW) ordinary passport holder cannot enter Nigeria visa-free or with a visa on arrival. On 1 May 2025 Nigeria replaced its visa-on-arrival program with a mandatory electronic visa (e-Visa) administered by the Nigeria Immigration Service. Taiwan is one of the 177 e-Visa-eligible nationalities, so Taiwanese travelers apply online at evisa.immigration.gov.ng before flying. The relevant category for short tourist visits is the Tourism Visa (F5A): a single-entry visa permitting a stay of up to 30 days, valid for 90 days from issuance, and not extendable. Applicants must hold a passport valid for at least six months, and provide a passport photo, return ticket, hotel reservation or host address, and evidence of sufficient funds (a 180-day bank statement). The published Nigerian immigration fee for Taiwan nationals is US$50 for single entry, with an additional biometrics fee for non-African applicants (around US$170); most decisions are issued by email within 24-48 hours. Note that since 1 May 2025 every traveler must also complete the free electronic Arrival/Departure Card on the Nigeria Immigration Service website before crossing the border. Because Nigeria and Taiwan do not maintain formal diplomatic relations, the online e-Visa is the practical channel; the Nigerian Representative Office in Taipei and the Taipei Trade Office in Lagos can assist with consular matters if needed.
