🇹🇼台湾(Taiwan (Chinese Taipei))🇰🇪肯尼亚(Kenya)TW-KE 台湾(Taiwan (Chinese Taipei)) 前往 肯尼亚(Kenya) 签证要求
Taiwan (TW) ordinary passport holders need a Kenya Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) before travel. Since January 2024 Kenya abolished traditional visas and requires every non-exempt visitor, including Taiwanese, to obtain an approved eTA online before boarding. Apply at the official portal etakenya.go.ke at least 3 working days ahead. As of June 2026, Kenya is "visa-free" only in the sense that it no longer issues traditional visas; instead it runs a mandatory Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) scheme launched on 1 January 2024. All foreign visitors who are not specifically exempt, Taiwanese ordinary passport holders included, must apply for and receive an approved eTA online before starting their journey. The 2025 reforms removed the eTA requirement only for most African (EAC and African Union) nationals, not for Taiwan or other non-African travelers, so Taiwanese travelers still need it. The standard tourist eTA costs USD 30 (card processing surcharges and optional expedited service add cost), is single-entry, must be used to enter Kenya within 90 days of issue, and permits a stay of up to 90 days. Applications are processed within about 3 working days, so applying at least 5 business days before departure is advised. A passport valid at least 6 months with a blank page, a passport-style photo/selfie, accommodation booking or invitation letter, and a flight itinerary are required. The eTA must be approved before boarding; it is not granted on arrival.
