🇹🇼台湾(Taiwan (Chinese Taipei))🇮🇱以色列(Israel)TW-IL 台湾(Taiwan (Chinese Taipei)) 前往 以色列(Israel) 签证要求
Taiwan ordinary passport holders do NOT need a traditional visa for a short tourist trip to Israel, but since 1 January 2025 they MUST obtain an ETA-IL (Electronic Travel Authorization) online before departure. It costs ILS 25, is valid up to 2 years for multiple entries, and permits stays of up to 90 days. Taiwan is a visa-exempt country for Israel, so no consular visa is required for tourism, business, or short visits of up to 90 days. However, Israel's Population and Immigration Authority (PIBA) launched the mandatory ETA-IL electronic travel authorization, which became compulsory for all visa-exempt nationalities (including Taiwan) on 1 January 2025 and remains in force through 2026. Taiwan ordinary passport holders must apply online via the official PIBA portal (israel-entry.piba.gov.il) before travel. The ETA-IL is linked to the passport, costs ILS 25 (about USD 7), is generally valid for 2 years (or until the passport expires, whichever comes first) and allows multiple entries with stays of up to 90 days each. Authorities recommend applying at least 72 hours before departure, ideally before booking flights and hotels; most decisions arrive within a few hours to 72 hours by email. The traveler must carry the approved ETA-IL together with a passport valid for at least 6 months. Israel is not in the Schengen Area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply. Final admission is always at the discretion of the Israeli border officer.
