A Taiwan ordinary passport is not visa-free for Ethiopia. Ethiopia operates a centralized electronic visa system at the official portal evisa.gov.et, and citizens of all countries (including Taiwan) are eligible to apply online. While Ethiopia's published visa policy still lists Taiwan among nationalities technically eligible for visa on arrival at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, in practice the government and airlines strongly direct travelers to obtain an approved eVisa before departure, and many carriers will not board passengers without one.
