🇹🇼台湾(Taiwan (Chinese Taipei))🇪🇪爱沙尼亚(Estonia)TW-EE 台湾(Taiwan (Chinese Taipei)) 前往 爱沙尼亚(Estonia) 签证要求
Taiwan ordinary passport holders can visit Estonia visa-free for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. Estonia is in the Schengen Area, and Taiwan is on the EU's visa-exemption list. No visa or eVisa is needed for tourism, provided the passport contains the holder's national ID number. Estonia is a full member of the Schengen Area, and Taiwanese nationals holding an ordinary passport that includes their national identity card (ID) number are exempt from the Schengen short-stay visa. As confirmed by the German Institute Taipei (representing Schengen visa matters) and the EU Delegation to Taiwan, no visa is required for tourism or business visits of up to 90 days within any rolling 180-day period across the entire Schengen Area. The passport must have been issued within the previous 10 years and remain valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended departure date. The 90/180 rule is cumulative across all Schengen states, not per country, so days spent in any Schengen country count toward the same allowance. The European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) is NOT yet in operation as of June 2026; its launch is currently expected in the last quarter of 2026, after which visa-exempt travelers including Taiwanese will need to obtain an approved ETIAS authorization (a small online fee, not a visa) before travel, with a transition/grace period. Until ETIAS goes live, eligible Taiwan travelers simply present a qualifying passport at the border. Border officers retain final discretion and may ask for proof of onward/return tickets, sufficient funds, accommodation, and travel medical insurance. National long-stay (D) visas remain required for stays over 90 days, study, or any work.
