🇹🇼台湾(Taiwan (Chinese Taipei))🇪🇨厄瓜多尔(Ecuador)TW-EC 台湾(Taiwan (Chinese Taipei)) 前往 厄瓜多尔(Ecuador) 签证要求
Taiwan ordinary passport holders can visit Ecuador visa-free for up to 90 days for tourism. No visa or eVisa is required in advance; you simply receive a T-3 tourist stamp on arrival. Note that the 90 days are counted within any rolling 12-month period. As of June 2026, holders of an ordinary Taiwan (Republic of China) passport do not need a visa to enter Ecuador for tourism or short visits. Ecuador grants visa-free entry to most nationalities for up to 90 days, issued as a T-3 tourist stamp, and Taiwan is included in this group. Crucially, Taiwan is NOT on Ecuador's restricted list of 45 nationalities that, since 1 September 2025, must obtain a Temporary Visitor (Transeunte) visa before travel — that list includes mainland China but specifically excludes Taiwan. The 90-day visa-free allowance is capped within a rolling 12-month period (i.e. you cannot reset it by simply leaving and re-entering), though a further 90-day extension can be requested from inside Ecuador. Standard entry conditions apply: a passport valid for at least 6 months, and on request proof of onward/return travel, sufficient funds, and accommodation. Sources are consistent that Taiwanese nationals retain visa-free access; the only conflicting reference (the Wikipedia "Visa policy of Ecuador" table) appears to conflate China and Taiwan, whereas the official restricted-nationality decree lists only China. Travelers should still confirm with the Ecuadorian Ministry of Foreign Affairs or its nearest representation shortly before departure, as Latin American visa rules have changed frequently in 2024-2026.
