台湾(Taiwan (Chinese Taipei)) 前往 瑞士(Switzerland) 签证要求

Taiwan ordinary passport holders can visit Switzerland visa-free for up to 90 days within any 180-day period for tourism. Switzerland is part of the Schengen Area, so the 90/180 short-stay rule applies. No visa or pre-travel authorization is currently required (as of 2026-05-30). The EU's ETIAS travel authorization is expected to launch in Q4 2026 but is not yet mandatory. Switzerland is a member of the Schengen Area, and Taiwan is on the EU's visa-exemption list for short stays. Holders of an ordinary Taiwanese passport that contains the holder's national identity card number may enter Switzerland and the rest of the Schengen Area without a visa for tourism, business, or family visits of up to 90 days within any rolling 180-day period. The passport must have been issued within the previous 10 years and remain valid for at least three months beyond the planned departure from the Schengen Area. No application or fee is required for entry; travelers simply present a valid passport and may be asked at the border for proof of onward/return travel, sufficient funds, and accommodation. Stays beyond 90 days, study, or any employment require a national long-stay visa. A significant upcoming change is the European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS): once operational (expected last quarter of 2026, with a transitional grace period afterward), visa-exempt travelers including Taiwanese nationals will need to obtain an online ETIAS authorization (EUR 20, valid 3 years) before travel. As of 2026-05-30 ETIAS is not yet in operation, so it is not required for current trips. The closely related Entry/Exit System (EES) is a biometric border-control system and does not require a separate application by travelers.
