🇹🇼台湾(Taiwan (Chinese Taipei))🇧🇪比利时(Belgium)TW-BE 台湾(Taiwan (Chinese Taipei)) 前往 比利时(Belgium) 签证要求
Taiwan ordinary passport holders can travel to Belgium visa-free for tourism, staying up to 90 days within any 180-day period across the Schengen Area. No visa or pre-travel authorisation is required as of 2026-06-01. ETIAS is not yet operational (expected late 2026); once live, Taiwanese travellers will need a EUR 20 ETIAS authorisation, but it remains a waiver, not a visa. Belgium is a full member of the Schengen Area. Since 11 January 2011, holders of ordinary Taiwan passports that contain the holder's national identity card number have been exempt from short-stay Schengen visas. They may enter Belgium and travel throughout the Schengen Area for tourism, business, family visits or transit for up to 90 days in any rolling 180-day period without a visa. The passport must have been issued within the previous 10 years and be valid for at least 3 months beyond the planned date of departure from the Schengen territory. Border officers may still request proof of accommodation, return/onward tickets, sufficient funds and travel medical insurance. The European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) is NOT yet in operation; the EU expects launch in the last quarter of 2026 with a transition/grace period afterward. When ETIAS becomes mandatory, eligible Taiwan passport holders will apply online for a EUR 20 multiple-entry authorisation (free for under-18s and over-70s), valid up to 3 years or until passport expiry. The Entry/Exit System (EES) biometric border registration is also being rolled out for non-EU nationals. For now, no application or fee is required for a Taiwan tourist to visit Belgium short-term.
