Turkish ordinary passport holders need a visa for Togo. The required option is the official Togo e-Visa, applied for online at voyage.gouv.tg before travel. Visa on arrival has been discontinued. A Turkey ordinary passport holder traveling to Togo for tourism must obtain an e-Visa before arrival. Turkey is not on Togo's visa-exemption list (which mainly covers ECOWAS and African Union states). Since late 2023, Togo no longer issues visas on arrival at its borders and airport; all visitors who require a visa must apply online through the government's official portal at voyage.gouv.tg. The tourist e-Visa is issued for stays of 15 to 90 days, with single- or multiple-entry options. Fees range from 25,000 to 65,000 CFA francs (XOF) depending on duration and entries. Processing takes up to five working days, and the platform recommends applying at least six working days before arrival to avoid a late-application surcharge. A passport valid for at least six months, a recent photo, scanned passport pages, proof of accommodation, and a yellow fever vaccination certificate (mandatory for all travelers) are required. All travelers must also complete the online immigration entry form no later than 24 hours before arrival. Togo is in West Africa and is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply.
