🇹🇭泰国(Thailand)🇸🇷苏里南(Suriname)TH-SR 泰国(Thailand) 前往 苏里南(Suriname) 签证要求
Thai ordinary-passport holders cannot enter Suriname without arranging a document in advance. Suriname has no visa-on-arrival; instead, Thailand falls under Suriname's "entry-fee" channel, meaning you apply online for an e-Tourist Card (electronic entry permit) before departure and pay the entry fee. Apply at least 72 hours ahead through the official VFS Global e-Visa portal. As of mid-2026, Thailand is not on Suriname's small visa-exemption (fee-free) list, which is reserved mainly for CARICOM/Caribbean states, nor is it on the e-Visa-required list (mostly select African and South Asian countries). Instead, Thai passport holders fall into Suriname's "entry-fee" category: they may travel for tourism without a traditional embassy visa but must obtain an electronic entry document, the Suriname e-Tourist Card, online before arrival and pay the entry fee. Suriname abolished traditional visa-on-arrival in 2019 and moved entirely to an online system administered through the official VFS Global e-Visa platform. The e-Tourist Card is strictly for tourism and family visits; business, work, study or volunteering require a standard visa applied through a Surinamese diplomatic mission (the nearest to Thailand are in Beijing, Jakarta, or New Delhi). Travelers need a passport valid at least six months with a blank page, a return/onward ticket, and proof of accommodation. The single-entry card permits a stay of up to 90 days. Apply at least 72 hours before travel; standard processing is typically 24-72 hours. Because Suriname is in South America and not in the Schengen area, no Schengen 90/180 rule or ETIAS applies.
