🇹🇭泰国(Thailand)🇸🇰斯洛伐克(Slovakia)TH-SK 泰国(Thailand) 前往 斯洛伐克(Slovakia) 签证要求
Thai ordinary passport holders need a Schengen short-stay (Type C) visa to visit Slovakia for tourism. Thailand is not on the EU visa-exempt list, so ETIAS does not apply. Apply in advance at the Slovak Embassy in Bangkok via the authorized visa center (BLS/VFS). Slovakia is a full member of the Schengen Area, and Thailand is not among the roughly 60 nationalities exempt from short-stay Schengen visas. As of 2026-06-01, Thai ordinary passport holders must obtain a Schengen Category C (short-stay) visa before traveling to Slovakia for tourism. The visa is issued by the Slovak Embassy in Bangkok, with applications lodged through the embassy's authorized external service provider (BLS International / VFS Global) in Thailand. A uniform Schengen visa allows a stay of up to 90 days within any 180-day period across all Schengen states. The standard adult visa fee is EUR 90, plus a service-center handling fee. Processing is normally up to 15 calendar days (extendable to 30, or 45-60 in exceptional cases). ETIAS, the EU travel authorization expected to launch in the last quarter of 2026, applies only to visa-exempt nationalities, so it does NOT replace the visa requirement for Thai passport holders. Travelers should apply at least 3-4 weeks before departure and carry proof of accommodation, return flights, sufficient funds, and travel insurance covering at least EUR 30,000.
