🇹🇭泰国(Thailand)🇸🇮斯洛文尼亚(Slovenia)TH-SI 泰国(Thailand) 前往 斯洛文尼亚(Slovenia) 签证要求
Thai ordinary passport holders need a Schengen Category C short-stay visa to visit Slovenia. There is no visa-free, visa-on-arrival, or eVisa option, and ETIAS does NOT apply to Thai nationals (it covers only visa-exempt countries). Apply in advance at the Slovenian embassy/consulate (or visa center) in Bangkok before you travel. Slovenia is a full member of the Schengen Area, and Thailand is listed in Annex I of EU Regulation 2018/1806, meaning Thai citizens must hold a visa to cross the Schengen external border. For tourism or a short visit, a Thai passport holder must obtain a Uniform Schengen Visa (Type C), which permits stays of up to 90 days within any 180-day period across the entire 29-country Schengen zone. The visa must be obtained before departure; there is no visa-on-arrival or eVisa channel. As of 1 June 2026, ETIAS has not launched and, critically, will never apply to Thai nationals because ETIAS only covers passport holders who are already visa-exempt for the Schengen Area; Thailand's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed Thai travellers continue to require a standard Schengen visa. One positive recent development is the EU's 2024 "visa cascade" for Thai residents: travellers who have lawfully used a Schengen visa within the past two years can be issued multiple-entry visas valid for 1 year, then 2 years, and eventually 5 years, easing repeat travel. Applications for a tourist trip whose main destination is Slovenia are filed with the Slovenian mission in Thailand (handled via an authorised visa application centre in Bangkok), with a standard fee of EUR 90 and processing of about 15 calendar days.
