🇹🇭泰国(Thailand)🇳🇦纳米比亚(Namibia)TH-NA 泰国(Thailand) 前往 纳米比亚(Namibia) 签证要求
Thai ordinary passport holders need a visa for Namibia, but they are eligible for Visa on Arrival for tourism. It is strongly recommended to apply online in advance through Namibia's official e-Visa (Visa on Arrival) portal to avoid border delays and the extra manual service fee. Thailand is not on Namibia's visa-exemption list, so Thai citizens cannot enter visa-free. However, Thailand is among the countries eligible for Namibia's Visa on Arrival (VOA), introduced/expanded under the visa reforms that took effect on 1 April 2025. The visa is issued for tourism only at designated airports and land/sea border posts (Hosea Kutako International Airport, Walvis Bay Airport and Harbour, Trans-Kalahari, Oshikango, Katima Mulilo, Noordoewer and others). The same authorisation can — and per the Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security should — be applied for in advance online via eservices.mhaiss.gov.na (the official e-Visa / online Visa on Arrival system). The fee for non-African Union nationals is N$1,600. Applications made manually at the immigration counter on arrival incur an additional N$400 service fee, so applying online is cheaper and faster. Tourists may stay up to 90 days; the online VOA is commonly issued for an initial 30-day period that can be extended at the Ministry of Home Affairs in Windhoek, up to the 90-day maximum. Requirements include a passport valid at least six months beyond the intended stay with at least three blank pages, a confirmed return/onward ticket, and proof of accommodation/funds. Namibia is in southern Africa and is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. Because Thailand has no visa waiver with Namibia, the conservative and accurate verdict is visa-required, satisfied through Visa on Arrival / online e-Visa.
