🇹🇭泰国(Thailand)🇱🇺卢森堡(Luxembourg)TH-LU 泰国(Thailand) 前往 卢森堡(Luxembourg) 签证要求
Thai ordinary passport holders need a Schengen short-stay (Type C) visa before traveling to Luxembourg. Thailand is not on the EU visa-exempt list, so ETIAS does not apply. Apply in person at the Embassy of Luxembourg in Bangkok. Luxembourg is a full member of the Schengen Area, and Thailand is a visa-required (non-exempt) nationality for Schengen short stays. A Thai ordinary passport holder must obtain a Schengen Uniform (Type C) short-stay visa before departure to visit Luxembourg for tourism. The visa permits a stay of up to 90 days within any rolling 180-day period across the entire Schengen Area. Because Thailand is not a visa-waiver country, ETIAS (the EU travel authorization expected to launch in the last quarter of 2026) does NOT apply to Thai nationals — they continue to need a full visa regardless of ETIAS rollout. Applications are made in person at the Embassy of Luxembourg in Bangkok (no VFS Global outsourcing for Luxembourg in Thailand), require biometric data capture, and the standard visa fee is EUR 90, collected locally as THB 3,400. Standard processing is up to 15 calendar days, and applications can be lodged from 6 months up to a minimum of 15 days before travel. Travelers should also note the EU Entry/Exit System (EES), which went live on 10 April 2026 and records biometric entry/exit data at Schengen external borders.
