Thai ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for tourist visits to the Dominican Republic. They can enter visa-free for up to 30 days. The US$10 tourist card is included in your air ticket fare, and every traveler must complete the free online E-Ticket before flying. As of 2026-05-30, Thailand is on the Dominican Republic's list of visa-exempt countries. A Thai ordinary passport holder traveling for tourism may enter without a visa and stay up to 30 days, with the possibility of extending the stay at the local Migration office for a fee. There is no advance visa application. Two practical requirements apply to nearly all visitors: (1) the Tourist Card (Tarjeta de Turista), which costs US$10 and is automatically bundled into the price of air tickets issued outside the Dominican Republic (so air travelers do not pay it separately at the airport); and (2) the mandatory, free electronic entry/exit form known as the E-Ticket (Viajero Digital), which every passenger - regardless of nationality or age - must complete online before travel. Airlines also verify that foreign passengers hold a round-trip / onward ticket before boarding. Thai passports should be valid for at least six months. This visa-free channel is well established and confirmed by the Dominican migration authority, the official tourism board, and the Dominican Consulate in Bangkok.
