🇹🇭泰国(Thailand)🇨🇱智利(Chile)TH-CL 泰国(Thailand) 前往 智利(Chile) 签证要求
Thai ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for a short tourist visit to Chile. You can enter visa-free and receive a Permanencia Transitoria (Temporary Stay / tourist) permit for up to 90 days on arrival. As of 2026-06-01, holders of an ordinary Thailand passport may travel to Chile for tourism without obtaining a visa in advance. On arrival, Thai nationals are granted a "Permiso de Permanencia Transitoria" (Temporary Stay permit) for tourism, valid for up to 90 days. Chile is in South America and is not part of the Schengen Area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. There is currently no electronic travel authorization or pre-arrival eVisa requirement for Thai tourists; the only formality is presenting a valid passport, evidence of onward/return travel, sufficient funds, and (where requested) accommodation details at the border. Thailand is not on Chile's list of nationalities that require prior consular authorization. The 90-day stay can be extended once for a further 90 days inside Chile through the migration service (Servicio Nacional de Migraciones) for a fee. Travelers should still confirm requirements close to departure, as immigration rules can change.
