A Thailand ordinary passport holder traveling to Brunei Darussalam for tourism or a short visit does not need a visa. The e-Arrival Card is free, takes about 20 minutes, and should be submitted within 72 hours (no earlier than 3 days) before arrival; it is separate from and additional to the visa-free status. Travelers should also carry proof of onward/return travel and sufficient funds. Brunei is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply.
