🇹🇭泰国(Thailand)🇧🇳文莱(Brunei)TH-BN 泰国(Thailand) 前往 文莱(Brunei) 签证要求
Thai ordinary passport holders can visit Brunei visa-free for up to 14 days for tourism. No visa or fee is required, but every traveler must register a free online e-Arrival Card before arriving. A Thailand ordinary passport holder traveling to Brunei Darussalam for tourism or a short visit does not need a visa. Under Brunei's visa-waiver arrangement (the Ministry of Foreign Affairs "D3-D14" category, which covers fellow ASEAN member Thailand), Thai nationals are admitted visa-free for stays of up to 14 days. There is no visa fee. The stay covers tourism, social/family visits, and transit; business or professional visits, or stays beyond 14 days, require a visa obtained in advance. Two practical conditions apply to every traveler regardless of visa exemption: the passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the intended stay, and an electronic Arrival Card (e-Arrival Card) must be completed online via Brunei's Immigration portal (imm.gov.bn) before arrival by air, land, or sea. The e-Arrival Card is free, takes about 20 minutes, and should be submitted within 72 hours (no earlier than 3 days) before arrival; it is separate from and additional to the visa-free status. Travelers should also carry proof of onward/return travel and sufficient funds. Brunei is not in the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply. This verdict was verified against the official Brunei Ministry of Foreign Affairs visa information pages, which place Thailand ordinary passports in the 14-day visa-exemption category.
