Singapore passport holders need a visa to enter Venezuela for tourism. Singapore is not on Venezuela's visa-exempt list, and there is no visa-on-arrival. As of 2026 Venezuela has migrated to a fully online electronic visa (eVisa) system operated through its Ministry of Foreign Affairs Cancilleria Digital portal, which replaces the former in-person consular interview for tourist and business travel and delivers the approved visa by email. The eVisa is typically issued for one year, is multiple-entry, and permits stays of up to 90 days per entry. The current government fee is around USD 180, with processing of roughly 15 days (real-world range about 7-30 days). Applicants must hold a passport valid for at least six months with blank pages, and show proof of onward travel, accommodation and sufficient funds. Travellers who prefer or are required to use the traditional route can still apply through a Venezuelan embassy/consulate (the nearest accredited missions to Singapore are in the region, as Venezuela has no resident embassy issuing in Singapore historically; the Singapore-based consular contact is consular@embavenez.org.sg). IMPORTANT: This is purely a visa/entry-rules assessment. The Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly advises Singaporeans to defer all travel to Venezuela due to the security situation following events in January 2026, and Singapore has limited ability to provide consular assistance there. Venezuela is not part of the Schengen area, so Schengen 90/180 and ETIAS rules do not apply.
