Singapore ordinary passport holders do NOT need a visa for short tourist visits to Tanzania. Travelers must still meet entry conditions: a passport valid for at least six months beyond the intended departure date with blank pages, proof of onward or return travel, and evidence of sufficient funds and accommodation. Immigration officers grant the permitted stay (commonly up to 90 days) at the port of entry, and travelers may be asked to show supporting documents. Because Singapore has no resident diplomatic mission in Tanzania and visa rules can change without notice, travelers should reconfirm with the Honorary Consulate of Tanzania in Singapore or the official Tanzania immigration portal close to departure. Note that yellow fever vaccination is required if arriving from or transiting (over 12 hours) through a country with risk of yellow fever transmission.
