The standard tourist e-Visa is single-entry and costs USD 30 (a multiple-entry option is USD 50). The e-Visa is valid for 90 days from issue and permits a stay of up to 60 days. Routine processing is 2-3 business days, though peak summer season (June-September) can run longer, so apply at least two weeks ahead. Travelers headed to the Pamir / Gorno-Badakhshan (GBAO) region must additionally request a GBAO permit, which can be added to the e-Visa application for roughly USD 20. The passport should be valid for at least six months and have at least two blank pages. Tajikistan is not part of the Schengen area, so the Schengen 90/180 rule and ETIAS do not apply.
